Today, on 3rd February 2014, I have lots of reasons to be grateful and feel blessed.

Four years ago, to the day, my family and I experienced the worst fear any parent will ever experience.  Our eldest daughter, Charlotte, aged 12 at the time, didn’t wake up that morning.  That day, and the days that followed, were traumatic and filled with despair.  We didn’t know whether we’d ever get Charlotte back after she had suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.
